Races and sports events: Gießen

Gießen is a start point for ARA Mittelhessen's brevets: 200 km brevets in November and March and a 300 km ride in April. Brevets are self-paced long-distance rides with no field limit, not races. On the water, the Lahnmarathon in April is a long-distance paddle of about 42 km on the Lahn for recreational and competitive paddlers.
