Hosting and server logs

When you visit, technically necessary data (IP address, time, URL, browser) is processed in server logs to deliver the site securely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

No accounts, no tracking cookies

StartAtlas has no user accounts and sets no marketing or tracking cookies. Forms use a technically necessary CSRF cookie.

Analytics

If enabled, we use cookieless, privacy-friendly analytics (e.g. Plausible) that stores no personal data.

Forms (suggestions and corrections)

When you suggest an event or report a correction we store your input and optional email address to review the submission (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can request deletion at any time.

Maps

Map tiles are loaded from OpenStreetMap (tile.openstreetmap.org), which receive your IP address. Fonts and scripts are served from our own server.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
