Races and sports events: Freiburg im Breisgau

Freiburg im Breisgau sits on the edge of the Black Forest, which shapes the cycling events in particular. The Rhine Valley Gravel Rallye in April is a multi-day ride between the Black Forest, Alsace and the Vosges, and in September La Reine is a gran fondo for women only. For runners there is the Mein Freiburg Marathon at the trade fair grounds in April, and for hikers the Megamarsch in September.
