Races and sports events: Bonn

In Bonn, running and long-distance cycling shape the calendar. The Deutsche Post Marathon Bonn in April runs along the Rhine and through the city centre, the Rheinaue park hosts the Nikolauslauf and a night run, and the RYZON Bonn Triathlon in June swims in the Rhine and rides in the Siebengebirge hills. From December to September ARA Rheinland runs brevets from the university sports grounds, including routes into Belgium and a gravel brevet, and December adds a cyclocross race in the NRW Cross Cup.
